Annualised inflation in the eurozone hit a new record in October, soaring to 10.7%, according to Eurostat, the EU's statistics bureau. The jump was partly fuelled by rising energy costs, which grew 41.9% year-on-year, compared with a 40% rise in September. The data will increase pressure on the European Central Bank to raise interest rates again at its next decision in December. The bank raised rates by 0.75 percentage points last week. 

 

유럽 연합 연간 인플레이션이 신 기록을 세웠다. 유럽 연합 통계국 유로스타에 따르면 10.7% 까지 올랐다. 

이러한 상승은 에너지 비용 상승으로 인해 전년 동월에 비해 41.9% 증가한 것이고,  지난 9월이랑 비교하면 40% 증가한 수치이다

이 자료는 유럽 중앙 은행이 12월에 금리를 다시 인상하라는 압력을 증가시킬 것이다. 은행은 지난 주에 0.75% 금리를 인상했다.
